  1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to We Sabi Work (“Platform”, “Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”). We Sabi Work is a digital platform that connects independent artisans, tradespeople, and service providers (“Service Providers”) with individuals and organisations seeking services (“Customers”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
  1. NATURE OF THE PLATFORM
2.1 We Sabi Work operates as a digital marketplace and matching service. 2.2 We Sabi Work:
  • Facilitates connections between Customers and Service Providers
  • Assigns or recommends Service Providers based on proximity, experience, reliability, and availability
2.3 We Sabi Work does not:
  • Provide services directly
  • Employ Service Providers
  • Supervise or control how services are performed
  • Guarantee service outcomes or quality
  • Act as an agent for either party
2.4 All service agreements are entered into directly between Customers and Service Providers.
  1. USER ELIGIBILITY
3.1 Users must be at least 18 years old. 3.2 Users must provide accurate and complete information. 3.3 We Sabi Work reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts providing false or misleading information.
  1. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
4.1 Users must create an account to access certain features. 4.2 Users are responsible for:
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials
  • All activity under their account
4.3 We Sabi Work is not liable for unauthorised access due to user negligence.
  1. TERMS FOR SERVICE PROVIDERS
5.1 Independent Contractor Status: Service Providers are independent contractors and are not employees, partners, or agents of We Sabi Work. 5.2 Responsibility for Services Service Providers are solely responsible for:
  • Service quality and workmanship
  • Pricing and quotations
  • Tools, materials, and equipment
  • Safety compliance
  • Warranties (if any)
  • Any damage, loss, or claims arising from their services
We Sabi Work shall not be liable for service-related claims. 5.3 Commission and Fees 5.3.1 We Sabi Work operates a Commission-based model tied to completed jobs. 5.3.2 Service Providers agree that:
  • All payments for jobs sourced through the Platform are processed and managed by We Sabi Work.
  • A commission fee is charged on every completed job.
  • Commission is deducted by We Sabi Work before payout to the Service Provider.
5.3.3 Payouts to Service Providers:
  • Will be made after confirmation of job completion (by the Customer, the Platform, or both)
  • May be subject to verification, dispute resolution, or a holding period where necessary
5.3.4 Attempting to bypass the Platform to avoid commission fees is strictly prohibited and may result in:
  • Immediate suspension
  • Permanent removal from the Platform
  • Legal action, where applicable
5.4 Accuracy of Information Service Providers must ensure:
  • Services listed are accurate
  • Qualifications and experience are truthful
  • Images reflect actual work
Misrepresentation may result in suspension or permanent removal. 5.5 Verification Verification badges indicate that certain documents have been submitted and reviewed. Verification does not:
  • Guarantee skill level or performance
  • Create liability for We Sabi Work
5.6 Prohibited Conduct Service Providers shall not:
  • Provide fraudulent or substandard services
  • Engage in illegal activities
  • Harass or abuse Customers
  • Circumvent the Platform to avoid commissions
  • Manipulate ratings or reviews
  • Accept or solicit payments outside the Platform for jobs initiated through We Sabi Work
Violations may result in permanent suspension.
  1. TERMS FOR CUSTOMERS
6.1 Service Engagement Customers acknowledge that:
  • Services are provided directly by independent Service Providers.
  • We Sabi Work is not responsible for how services are carried out.
6.2 Payments 6.2.1 All payments for services requested through We Sabi Work must be made through the Platform using approved payment methods. 6.2.2 We Sabi Work:
  • Collects payments from Customers on behalf of Service Providers.
  • Holds funds until service completion is confirmed.
  • Deducts applicable commissions and fees.
  • Releases the remaining balance to the Service Provider.
6.2.3 Customers agree that:
  • Payment must be made in full (unless otherwise agreed) before service delivery.
  • Payments made outside the Platform are not protected and violate these Terms.
6.2.4 We Sabi Work reserves the right to:
  • Delay or withhold payouts in cases of disputes, suspected fraud, or policy violations
  • Reverse or refund transactions where necessary.
6.3 Disputes Customers agree that:
  • Disputes must first be addressed directly with the Service Provider.
  • We Sabi Work may assist in communication, but is not obligated to resolve disputes.
6.4 Reviews and Ratings Customers may leave reviews, which must:
  • Be truthful and based on experience
  • Not contain defamatory, abusive, or harmful content
We Sabi Work reserves the right to remove inappropriate content. 6.5 Completion of Service A job is considered “completed” when:
  • The Customer confirms satisfaction, or
  • No dispute is raised within 24 hours after service delivery, or
  • We Sabi Work determines completion based on available evidence
This triggers commission deduction and payout processing.
  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted under Nigerian law, We Sabi Work shall not be liable for:
  • Personal injury
  • Property damage
  • Financial loss
  • Fraud or misconduct
  • Service defects or delays
  • Contract breaches between users
  • Indirect or consequential damages
All interactions are at the users’ own risk.
  1. INDEMNIFICATION
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless We Sabi Work and its representatives from claims arising out of:
  • User conduct
  • Service disputes
  • Violations of these Terms
  • Breach of applicable laws
  1. FRAUD AND MISCONDUCT
We Sabi Work reserves the right to:
  • Suspend or investigate accounts
  • Remove fraudulent listings
  • Report illegal activity to authorities
  1. ESCROW & PAYMENT PROTECTION
10.1 Platform-Facilitated Payments Where We Sabi Work provides in-platform payment services, payments made by Customers may be held temporarily by the Platform (“Escrow”) until agreed service milestones are met. 10.2 Release of Funds Funds held in Escrow may be released to the Service Provider when:
  • The Customer confirms satisfactory completion of the service; or
  • A predefined service milestone is achieved; or
  • A reasonable period has passed without a dispute being raised
10.3 Dispute Holding If a dispute is raised before funds are released:
  • The funds may be temporarily withheld.
  • Both parties may be required to provide evidence.
  • We Sabi Work may facilitate resolution, but is not obligated to act as a formal arbitrator.
10.4 Platform Role Limitation We Sabi Work’s involvement in payment facilitation does not:
  • Make the Platform responsible for service quality
  • Create liability for service outcomes
  • Establish an employment or agency relationship
10.5 Fees We Sabi Work will deduct:
  • Commission fees
  • Transaction or processing fees
before releasing funds to Service Providers.
  1. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
11.1 Cancellation by Customers Customers may cancel a service request:
  • Before a Service Provider is assigned – no penalty
  • After assignment but before work begins – possible cancellation fee
  • After work has commenced, charges may apply based on the work completed
11.2 Cancellation by Service Providers Service Providers must not cancel accepted jobs without a valid reason. Frequent cancellations may result in:
  • Reduced visibility on the Platform
  • Temporary suspension
  • Permanent removal
11.3 Refund Eligibility Refunds may be considered in cases such as:
  • Service not delivered
  • Significant deviation from the agreed scope
  • Proven misconduct or fraud
11.4 Non-Refundable Situations Refunds may not be granted where:
  • The service was completed as agreed
  • Dissatisfaction is subjective without a clear breach
  • Payments were made outside the Platform
11.5 Refund Processing Where applicable, refunds will be:
  • Processed within 48 hours from resolution.
  • Subject to administrative or transaction deductions
  1. SERVICE STANDARDS
12.1 General Expectations Service Providers on the We Sabi Work platform are expected to:
  • Act professionally and respectfully
  • Arrive on time or communicate delays
  • Deliver services as agreed
  • Maintain a safe working environment
12.2 Response Time Service Providers are expected to:
  • Respond to job requests promptly
  • Maintain an active availability status
Failure to respond consistently may affect visibility on the Platform. 12.3 Quality Assurance While We Sabi Work does not guarantee service outcomes, we promote quality through:
  • Vetting and onboarding processes
  • Ratings and reviews
  • Performance monitoring
Repeated poor performance may result in removal from the Platform. 12.4 Customer Responsibilities Customers agree to:
  • Provide accurate job descriptions
  • Ensure safe and accessible work environments
  • Communicate expectations clearly
  • Make timely payments
12.5 No Guarantee Clause We Sabi Work does not guarantee:
  • Exact timelines
  • Specific results
  • Continuous availability of Service Providers
However, we strive to ensure a reliable and efficient matching experience.
  1. PLATFORM ENFORCEMENT & QUALITY CONTROL
13.1 We Sabi Work reserves the right to:
  • Monitor interactions conducted through the Platform
  • Remove underperforming Service Providers
  • Adjust rankings, visibility, or access to job requests
13.2 Platform decisions regarding:
  • Account status
  • Visibility
  • Access to opportunities
are final and made at the sole discretion of We Sabi Work.
  1. DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY
We Sabi Work processes personal data in accordance with applicable Nigerian data protection laws. Users consent to:
  • Data storage and processing
  • Use of contact information for service coordination
  • Identity verification procedures
  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All Platform content, including logo, branding, design, and software, remains the property of We Sabi Work and may not be used without permission.
  1. TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate accounts for:
  • Policy violations
  • Fraud or abuse
  • Non-payment of commissions
  • Legal or regulatory requirements
  1. FORCE MAJEURE
We Sabi Work shall not be liable for delays or failure due to events beyond reasonable control.
  1. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS
We Sabi Work may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance.
  1. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. All disputes fall under the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
